I was up at 6am to see off a friend who was here for the weekend, and get to the gym early. I achieved half of that.

I think it's more a 'of a certain age' thing, so, by extension yes, it is, although not exclusively.
All we need now is Berry to appear and to whip up that old favourite "are you saving time by setting your watch 5 minutes fast" hornet's nest.

Woke up by daughter at 6:10. She came into our room and climbed into bed. Told her to go to sleep, it's not time to get up yet. I then lay there until 7:45 while she got another hour and a half sleep. Then we frantically got ready for the school run, like we do every weekday morning.

Alarm was 4:45 up at 4:40 at work by 5:30.
Tomorrow will set alarm for 4:50 and I’m happy to take guesses as to my wake up and work arrival time

I hate the early mornings and all my jobs have required them. Doing morning radio was torture with a get up time of 3:40.
Things aren’t exactly great now with my average day from 6am until 8pm six days a week. I also have 530am clients. They are very nice people because if they weren’t I would have fired them years ago. No wonder we bought a cold plunge tank. It might be the only thing keeping me awake.
