"Both child and not a child" was the Epstein brand wasn't it?

Just been to pick up some antibiotics for RC JR mkii. The pharmacist looked a bit like Jeremy Vine.

I might wait till he’s finished and knock him off his bike.

Mrs Simon finds it strange that I have a top whose only function is to wear when I have my hair cut and wonders whether my barber thinks it's the only top I actually have. (I did explain that I doubt he's even noticed and definitely won't care.)

    BikeNonce is trending on Twatter.

Has Jim been on the bike in his spidey outfit again?

    Edit: forum doesn’t like hashtags.

It likes them just fine. You just have to escape them, like this \#, if you don't want them to indicate a heading.

    \# hash

Wife and kids are out tonight so having a few beers and got a JustEat on the way.

Delivery was between 19:15 and 19:35 which hasn’t happened so unsure if driver gets his £1 tip now,

Last of the big spenders, me.

JustEat is here. Now eating fried chicken.

I tipped the guy as I was feeling generous.

Starting work at 6am today. Got up at 4:30 to drive to Nottingham.

Was 45 mins early due to fuck all traffic. Having a coffee waiting for everyone to show up.

Will have an extra 15 mins in bed tomorrow (and if too early again 15 mins the day after) and will hopefully find the sweet spot to maximise time in bed vs getting stuck in Nottingham traffic.

Replaced the rechargeable battery in one of my bluetooth speakers. All went smoothly, and it appears to work.

Disappointed at the lack of follow up to this.

Thing is, traffic is going to vary by day. So you're going to have to refine this over a number of weeks and adjust the alarm depending on the day.

Surely the traffic into Nottingham hasn't reached significant levels by 6am? Whack it in google maps, add 15 minutes to be safe, go with that.

This makes me have horrible flashbacks to studying operational research, and using simulation analysis to program this sort of thing in fortran using punch cards on a VAX-11.

Google maps tells lies. I did the time and location on my first day which was an 8am start and a suggested 55 min journey took 1hr 15 mins, luckily I left early that day.

    Update.

Tuesday I set my alarm for 4:45 instead, but woke up at 4:30 so thought “fuck it” and got ready for work, I got there at 5:20 and just started early earning 30mins in lieu.

This morning I slept until the alarm of 4:45 and left at 5. There was noticeably more traffic on the road. But not enough to hold me up. Got to work at 5:40.

I think leaving at 5 is about OK. My missus reckons 5:15 but I think there will be just enough traffic by then to make it a risky prospect. But then, she has her work journey down to almost the exact min of arrival so maybe she knows her onions. It’s a 15 min journey tho with little traffic so I don’t think she’s considering how busy the road into Nottm gets these days.

My main question here is how you manage to go from waking up to out the door in 15 minutes. I need minimum 1 hour for that process.
