A old fat mackam fan tried to start on me at Notts this afternoon and threatened to knock me out because my lad was kicking his chair. My lad is a pain in the arse, there's no escaping that but still, you've got to be a proper nut job to try and start a fight about a 4 year old in the family stand.

I'm not a huge one for confrontation but what with staff and kids you learn to get by. He stood up to shout at me, started going off on one, so I stood up and as I was on the row above was looking down on him. I asked him why you'd sit in the family stand if you hated kids which knocked him off guard so he said he was going to knock me out, I told him behave, he started to rant again so he got a louder, more instructive behave which seemed to do the trick as he then sat down mumbling to himself.

I think he's a 2clubwanker, I'm not in a position to call that out really. It was fairly busy in their yesterday but there were plenty of empty seats as you'd expect. Sometimes the fat git sits across 2 seats. The other Dad who I go with who also takes his lad was really annoyed so has emailed the club, I'll keep you updated.
Lad 2 enjoyed the game so much yesterday he fell asleep in his for most of the first half.

A fat Mackam tried to deliberately take my head off by opening the emergency exit with force of the coach he was on while I was walking through the car park and cheerfully announced he'd "Get me next time ya bastad".
Some people are just massive nobs. Especially from Sunlun at football matches, it seems.

Bought a new USB wireless adaptor for one of my desktops. It came with the drivers on a CD-ROM. What is this, 2005?
As luck would have it this is my one machine that actually has a CD/DVD drive.

I presume this is a windows machine if it needs drivers?
I'm currently using disko to define the partition schemes of the drives in a remote (Montreal actually) server using kezec under the hosting companies rescue system to install an unsupported operating system on the server. In this case it will be an atomic declarative system with impermanence to reset the operating system every boot (avoiding configuration drift and undefined state) and require an SSH login to password unencrypt the hard drives before completing the boot.
It makes me laugh when people consider windows a modern operating system.

I have lots of computers still with optical drives. They fill the hole that would otherwise be in the front of the case. Most of them are not connected.

Crippling insomnia brought on by what I can only think to be some sort of space born alien virus thing, so decided to just go to the other room, Lemsip up, catch the hockey and wait eagerly for the alarm.
As soon as I did that, Sens score to get one back having been 3 down in the 2nd. Which is nice.

It's a weird season. We have spells when we look great, and then spells when we're horrible. The only thing that's consistent is goaltending, which is consistently awful. And the conference is weird, every single team has a winning record but no one is dominant.
Leafs are bottom though, so that's fun at least.

To be honest I've not watched much at all this season but have kept an eye on scores. We don't appear as terrible as recent times, but conversely don't appear to have fulfilled that potential shown 2(?) years ago.
Yeah, I noticed Leafs bottom. I'm still going to celebrate an imaginary Elimination Day around April time though if they stay shit.
