You could halve the potential risk by just ordering one boot.

So pay more for one shoe, than two, and have to hop to america to get it?

    Brilliant plan Baldrick.

Just think that if you doing end up being a knee-cripple spaz, you only have one shoe looking at you all lonely.

Perhaps you could ask Paul McArtney’s ex-missus if she has any spare shoes going?

I think she's knackered on the same side. I could ask Paul, see if he kept the other half of the shoes.

Serviced the lawnmower. Changed oil, air filter, spark plug, seal, balance springs, and sharpened the cutting blade. Decided to cut the grass to test it.

Started fine first time, but the starter cord snapped.

Bit late to the alcohol discussion. Wifey was/is probably an Alchoholic. Her parents both were. Her family died. Her mother went sober. She is lovely until she drinks then watch out...

She (wifey) made a conscious decision to quit drinking last summer. It has been life changing. We drink non alcoholic spritzers nowadays in the heat rather than Margaritas and gin and Tonics. I work so much it wasn't prudent to drink then get up at 5am to do 14 hour days so it is easier to manage the work load.

Is she a bit mental still? Yes, but it is much better.

Apart from when she lost the feral cat that we adopted and she then spent the next day in a frenzy wandering into the neighbourhoods back yards shaking a food container. Anybody else would get shot or arrested but not her. Pretty young looking blonde thing. If I was in someone's back garden . Quite sure i would be nursing a few holes in me...

Anyway, she met 18 people she hasn't met before and they seemed to be friendly (luckily for us).

We got the cat back so we didn't start drinking again.

    Chicago: Late to the party.

I have been teetotal for five and a half years now.
I am also still a bit mental, and I also go into a frenzy when one of my cats are missing.
Fair play to her for not letting the stress cause her to reach for a familiar crutch 👏the sober journey is not always an easy one.

The BBC have quoted the Lord Mayor of Birmingham as saying that the Ozzy Osbourne procession today “would be a chance for the city to pay its last respects to one of its greatest living legends”.

Good to see that it is not just our national politicians who are out of touch with what is happening in the real world.
