I think we need a Groundhog Day thread
I thought you'd be someone who'd hate saying something like this.
Do you disagree?
You might bear in mind that most people in the world are Chinese. [winky woo]
We need a Soporific Moments thread.
Or a tedious fights arguments thread?
Anyone else thinking this could be last we hear from Jim?
Thanks to the way this thread is going I can't even be arsed to dig out a Mince Meet gag. Or is it a pun? Or wordplay? Or...

Yes. Of course I disagree. There would be no confusion from most people about what was written.
Some people would be a little confused, and some people would feign offence.
Question is Jim still alive or has some tabard wearing group disposed of him?
Just got home. Was good. Will elaborate tomorrow. Am pretty drunk.

Important to have a safe word/phrase.
We have a hedgehog in the cellar. Has been named Hedginald. Plans for capture and release have been made.
Just bought this season's home shirt for eight quid in the club shop's final sale. Will do for running, I guess. Still a few left in small and medium if anyone's interested.
Had to make a payment (or, more specifically, a batch of payments) of over $100m today. First time we’ve hit that number and it turns out that the bank file format our system generates can’t handle that many digits and effectively tops out at $99,999,999.99. No prospect of anyone getting under the hood of our creaky old system to split the file, but managed to sort it using excel.

We did that yesterday didn't we?
Maybe it's because I'm old, but fight would imply physical violence.
I wonder if it's a regional dialect thing where Notnum folk have a more specific usage.
Perhaps a gender thing? If a man tells me he had a fight with someone I'd assume it's physical.
If a woman tells me she's had a fight with someone I'd assume an argument.
