What time does it start in Ulaanbaatar?
    What channel is it on?
Will it finish before the proper racing au Canada?

    22:00
UK - TNT4, Mongolia- highlights on Eurosport Asia or the full race on the WEC app.
Yes, there is a 4 hour gap between the end of Le Mans and the start of the GP of Russ.

Don't have TNT so watching the F1 Academy (girls) race, which in two laps has already proven to be more fun than the big guns.

Decided to pop down to Poole. Turns out it's Harry Paye day. Which is a local version of international pirate day.

    Dubya would have liked it.

    Did you enjoy the beach?

    Couldn't find it, you say?.......

I'm intrigued by the idea of waking up one sunny Saturday morning in Notts and deciding to "pop down to Poole".

It's the closest he could get to Le Mans without actually going to France. He can't go to France because it's full of French people. And probably Russians.

As the song doesn't go, I've been to Cherbourg which is in France, from Poole, many times but I've never been to Le Mans.

I just contacted IT support (imagine that being a person that isn't me!) asking if we have access to a markdown editor. Notepad isn't really cutting it for me. Unfortunately typo'd cuntionality instead of functionality in the email. Presumably because I was mentioning the unsuitability of onenote at the time.

I kind of wanted to try it once. Apart from some local difficulties (almost everything used tech wise, is a microsoft tool...apart from some specialist systems), that every job has....I have to say I am thoroughly impressed with the people I work with, and the company (looking from the inside) is an outstanding organisation. I'm also not in a directly technical role, so lack of access to geek tools goes with the territory.

    I'm not so sure.

I've never knowingly met Tricky but he sounds a bit like some sort of nightmarish gestalt composite of every weird-ass IT support professional I've ever met.

    It's a terrifying prospect, isn't it?
