I was having small talk with a colleague yesterday and asked if he was going away over half term. He said his father in law has treated them to a holiday and it looked nice. I quipped ‘skeggy?’ as a joke, but it was and it all felt a bit awkward.
Coming home from football last night, Cotgrave road was just being closed, with numerous emergency vehicles, and more incoming. I had to turn around and go the long way round.
Thought I'd run out of oats.
I hadn't run out of oats.
I'm more pissed off about the football today than I was yesterday.
And that was the worst Football Focus of the season too, just to further annoy me.
The last two FG's have been unduly negative, I deleted them after a few minutes.
Are we talking about Forest Focus? I thought Kelvin Wilson's take on the conference league was an interesting professional's view. Although the reaction of Celtic getting into it is always going to be much different from ours.
I rarely bother with the instant reaction post-match shows. I see Ruby was on the latest one (understandably as she's more likely to be available than most of the regulars) and she's way down my list of contributors I'm interested in hearing from.
Sorry, yes - FF.
I thought it was unduly negative about the conference league - basically saying we shouldn't bother with it.
I thought that was one of the better bits, with Kelvin saying that new players won't be persuaded to come because of it at all.
They were heavily invested in Sangaré being a failure though, despite grudgingly acknowledging he's been one of the best players "because of Dominguez".
Yeah, I thought that was the most interesting bit - that from his perspective you can sell the club as being on an upwards trajectory but the conference league itself has no pull.
Went to hang my washing outside to dry. Opened the door and it was pissing it down.
Didn't.
Also surprised by that. Sangare has been showing skills very well of late. Doesn't have a Dominquez scurry but does seem to be good at standing in the right place. Quick in his head. Also saw Palmer off a couple of times.
Can't you find a church or a bus or a patch of black earth to put your airer next to?
Just trimmed my hedge. Oo-err missus.
Booked in at 10:30am tomorrow for my first ever tattoo,a few days before my 45th birthday.
You'll all be delighted to know it's going to be a picture of a fixie bike.
Good luck. Not tempted by #FuckedIt (winky thing)?
In other news, you and I must be virtually the same age. My 45th is also coming fast up the road.
