Went to the arena last night to watch the Leigh Wood fight, a very good one it was but unfortunately Cacace who won in the 9th. Will be a shame if that’s the end of Wood, hopefully gets a last pay day after being messed around a bit for the last year and a half.

Noticed that my £1/month subscription to The Athletic had ended and it was rising to £7.99, went to cancel it and the deal they offered is £9.99 for the next 12 months. Worth it at that price in my opinion.

Driving back from the match today I stopped at Northampton services for coffee and a toilet break. Noticed a rattling when pulling out of the parking spot and, turning off the stereo realised it was rattling like a bastard. Fortunately I couldn't hear it whilst driving fast with the stereo on loud.
Most likely something has come loose in the exhaust system by the sound of it. Got back fine and hoping I won't have to shell out to get it repaired as I have a passport to renew and midweek trips to European cities to plan.
Goldfish has a spreadsheet on preparation listing every conceivable club we could face in whichever competition we are in, and has details of the best places to stay as well as flights. A good way to forget about today's match anyway.
