Really looking forward to Sunday. To the degree that I've started to ponder what to wear, and have been planning a route of pubs for our 'gang' that is going down. Will be 6-7 of us I think - we're going to go to Camden - The Good Mixer, The Wetherspoons pub by the canal if the weather is nice, then the Hawley Arms. Then jump on the Overground from Camden Road to Brondesbury - a pint in The North London Tavern - and jump on the Jubilee Line up to Wembley. I love a good pub crawl.

When did the word 'remail' become a thing? The merry fuck are you on about?

    Is 'reply' not sufficient anymore?

See also 'looping in' and 'circling back'. Get fucked.

I'll cc you. Or copy you in. If you stop being such an insufferable fucking tool, you massive weapon.

I thought as a global society in general we'd moved past all this made up corporate wankspeak language but apparently not.

Totalled my wing mirror on a gatepost on thursday night. Ordered the part I thought that I needed sat in the drive I was in at the time. Part came today. Just rebuilt my wing mirror - as good as new.

Well, not new really, as good as the 12 year old wing mirror it already was.

Ran a panel at a conference yesterday. I don't usually prep much, generally wing it. But did loads of prep this time. Used the wrong fucking deck.

    Poop?

    Managed to scoop it up.

In other news, dreamt I had a severe bit fly infestation round my bot hole.

Had a handful of salted peanuts. Not salty enough for my liking.

Having just been for a run in the heat, I can assure you my nuts are plenty salty though I suspect equally not to your taste.

I'm sure that you are being self-deprecating with your comparison with my peanuts.

Anyone use Google VPN? For the last few months, if I have it turned on, the Google ticket website won't let me on. Have to disable it temporarily.

Is this wise? I mean, would you trust google, to hide from google, the things that google really wants to know about you?

This from the company that definitely promised that it wasn't scanning and recording wireless access points...then was found with a database of them....this being one of the least privacy compromising things they have ever done. You know, the company that was formed with the corporate tagline of "Do no evil"...which it recanted on. Explicitly telling you that it's mission now is to do evil!

I'm about as likely to use a google VPN as a chocolate teapot.

This was a shorter than I actually expected from you.

The question was more aimed at others tbh.

I mean, he's not wrong. What on earth would possess you to think Google VPN is a good idea? There are countless better options out there that aren't owned by a company whose explicit mandate is the monetization of your data.
