Any CEO turning up with a personal goon-squad is outing himself as either evil, or a fucking idiot.

Kind of. Remember that some of the people idolising Luigi won't be as principled/disciplined/targeted/smart* as him, and might just see shareholder value as sufficient motive.

But even so, by the time the bodyguard has realised the person he’s protecting is about to be shot, they’ll already be dead.

This much is true as he was so obviously a bodyguard in the lobby and sitting facing the front door with an ear piece and his gun holster showing. By the time he would have had to draw it pretty sure he would be dead as he would be the first target. No body does subtlety anymore.

Another CEO bodyguard at the gym.

Would hat to lose Chic to a stray bullet meant for the boss of Tosspot Widgets Inc.

What if he just loses a kneecap and has a really good story to tell about it on TB?

Last day of work today before breaking up for Christmas.

On my way out I saw one of the cleaning staff I talk to, I told her I’d “broke up for Christmas”
and she looked a bit sad and a said something along the lines of it not being a nice time of year for that.

I eventually twigged and let her know that Mrs RC and I haven’t quite given up on 20 yrs of marriage just yet (tho god knows it’s been close) but I meant I won’t be at work next week as I’ve got days off booked.

I said similar over Whatsapp to a Welsh mate and he said “yeah, I’m skint too”.

Is it just me that says they “broke up” when they’re off for a bit?

It is mostly people who go to school though. Are you counting ‘sleeps’ til Christmas?

microg wasn't working properly on my phones. Which wasn't a biggie, because I don't use it. Still. I took a couple of hours to do updates and got around to sorting it out today.

Went shopping with Mrs Charlie, looking for two lightweight waterproof jackets. Came home with a jumper for her, some pants for me and a book about Japan.

That sounds like how my last couple of shopping trips went.

Coincidentally I also bought some new pants. Opened the factory sealed packaging and there was a really bad smell, it seems like they came with factory installed farts which is akin to buying pre-chewed food. Really, I'm quite happy to take care of that bit myself. Anyway, I washed them and now they smell fine.

Tomorrow me and the lad are going to Notts with his mate and his mates dad. The kids are 3. Today I've had to buy a 5th ticket for the middle one (7) as she doesn't want to go to Meadowhall to spend her Christmas money with Mrs Ingo as shopping is boring. It's a fair point. Tomorrow though is going to be fucking baltic and Notts will be getting Hollowayed into the middle of next week so she may learn a thing or two about life choices and consequences by about 12.45 tomorrow.
