A woman glued her hand to a window of our building apparently. For reasons I don't understand this created a massive hoohaa of cordons and closures etc. She wasn't in the way of anything so unsure why she wasnt just left alone.

In other news, I'd had enough of work at 5pm, but my train home isn't until 8pm, so I'm doing a solo pub crawl to KX. Currently on 3rd pint. The Lucas on Cromer Street.
No fucking way. Apparently there weren't any queues to get in this morning which I think is due to everyone thinking fuck this I'm WFH.
Head of building security came up to personally apologise this morning. They had initially been defensive on the points we raised, now change tack to be accepting and apologetic. I'd be sacking the guy if I was them. Most days security involves telling tourists heading to the Sky Garden they need to go round the back to a separate entrance. The one day this year with advance notice of potential real security issues and he fucks it.
Does sound like they made a mess of it. When it's expected or happening at ours there's some additional security and barriers, but we just flash our security card and we're in. Very small queues. Minor inconvenience
A few years back we had that French Spiderman with the long hair, free climb our building, that also caused a bit of hoohaa.
I like the idea of superglueing protesters to windows. Glueing french spiderman to the seventh floor, even better.
