Haven't been in The Queens for years. Friday afternoons were West End Theatre Softball League days. We used to pop in The Queens post-game / pre-work (soft drinks, obviously - we were all pros) (ahem). Then producers started banning cast members from playing. Then matinee days went from either Weds / Thurs to any day of the week depending on the show. Naturally the league didn't survive.

Observation: in education, policies are written, filed in a cloud for nobody to read. In local government, the first two days are devoted to reading policies.

Just ordered a new phone. My Galaxy S10 has provided faithful service for the last 5 years and is still working well, but the battery life is pretty sketchy these days and the picture quality a little embarrassing. It is going to a graceful retirement and being replaced with a Galaxy S24.
My Galaxy 10, bought as a refurb 3 years ago is still going strong.
I have no desire or plan to upgrade it anytime soon.
Unless I see a shiny, obviously.
I work for a big telco where anyone with a phone more than a model year behind gets strange looks.

Why do people want a good camera on their phone? The internet is full of rubbish pictures taken with good phone cameras. Why don't people just learn to take a good photograph, if they want good photographs?
