I was assured that The Accountant was a brilliant movie with an excellent depiction of neurodiversity. I found it dull and unmemorable, and Ben Affleck is generally unappealing.
Oh, and CA: Brave New World wasn't very good, as expected. Harrison Ford was not right for that at all. And the young Falcon sidekick needs to work on his elocution before speaking so quickly. And his acting. And Liv Tyler is still the worst thing about yet another movie.

Yeah agreed. I have been playing Zelda Breath of the Wild on Switch 2 and much of the film reminded me of that, running around countryside.
Ah lucky you. It is my favourite ever game. I've had it almost a year now and I'm still playing it. Trying to do everything I can before contemplating moving onto the second in the series. I was gutted when I realised I'd forgotten it for my train to London this morning.
I've had the game for about 8 years since it first came out but only played it a bit. Started again now with Switch 2 upgrade.
Watched 28 Years later. Liked it very much. Very Danny Boyle in terms of cinematography and soundtrack.

I guess this could also go in the Music thread too but Becoming Led Zeppelin is a really great documentary that ends suddenly... I would hope that they continue to track the career of the band rather than stop at the beginnings of their stardom. All of the musicians really were incredible. You take for granted how excellent they were on the records but watching really encapsulates just how great they were in the writing and performance process. I knew Jimmy page was good but when you see him on Hendrix levels just going mental you only really understand how unique and brilliant he is. Also you don’t realise it but they were heavy as fuck!
Those days are gone unfortunately, but what an era.

Saw F1 last night. It's predictable, cliched, and riddled with logical inconsistencies.
I loved it.
I too loved it. If you don’t know much about the sport you wouldn’t know some of the stuff that isn’t allowed. Buiuuuuut it was fantastic entertainment.
Best cinema time for ages. Also turns out my local theatre has upgraded all the seats and spaces and it has got me wanting to go see first run films more. Used to be an avid goer but Covid and streaming ruined it for a while. A long while.
Great film to get you back in front of the big screen.

Tbf, if you do know something about the sport you'll know how preposterous some of the things they do are. But it really doesn't matter.
Watched it. Worth my time. But I'm guessing that only an oblique reference to the drinking, whoring and snorting was due to it being a band approved documentary. Still worth it for the focus on the music and the sheer otherly talent of them.
