In answer to your statement. I took away the credit card as soon as I knew it was being abused and also I have dragged her into therapy/counseling three times. The first time she only went because I was paying for it and then stopped when I suggested that she do it. The second time she had two meltdowns where the therapist had to stay with her whilst I left. The third we were Gettjng somewhere but the she (wifey) declared that she was cured and stopped going. And you wonder why I won’t let her have a handgun in the house.

Anyway… sounds like the basis of a good film.

Plan on going full on Disney with Deadpool/wolverine and the Captain America sequel if I have the time because it will be brainless but it will be fun and I probably won’t be cross whilst watching them.

    Chicago: Happy to zone out

I've not seen CA4, but D/W is an ugly, ugly film (with good bits).

Wish I'd liked Mickey 17 more than I did. Pattinson is good but it doesn't pull the many different sub plots together as well as it should. Parasite remains a massive outlier in how highly I rate Bong Joon Ho films.

Did like Heretic awesome performance by Hugh Grant and really tense, especially in the first half. As the question of what's going on is resolved, it's not as good but well worth watching (especially for nowt on a trial from Prime).

Warfare is superbly made, it's a brutal watch and as someone who doesn't much like war movies it's not a movie I can say I enjoyed. But it is good.

Watched 28 years later. It wasn't quite what I was expecting. I liked it but the first one is still the best.

Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare. Weird throwback to a 70s ww2 caper movie but fun enough. Few weird plot bits where stuff is set up and not really paid off.

    Pile of shite.

I rather liked longlegs. Offbeat, odd and quite spooky. Falls apart at the end a bit. Also some decent music easter eggs.

Obviously I have discussed the Grenfell Documentary which isn't easy viewing. But then again Neither is the Accountant 2.

A totally needless sequel to a creepy first film. Yet, somehow entertaining without it being a comedy, or a straight thriller. But it did have the requisite amount of violence to entertain. Pointless, daft but a decent two hours of switching your brain to neutral. There are better films but there are worse films. Still don't totally understand the entire plot but hey ho.

Looks like Wifey and my good self will be legging it to the cinema to see the Formula one film. We have been enticed by the hype around it. It will be either completely ace or stupid as fuck. Which could be entertaining too. Ingo is going to cream his pants.

Thought Civil War was pretty good but I was reasonably aware going in what it is and isn't. Think it got some dodgy reviews as people were expecting something else. (Basically more fighting and a clearer political viewpoint.)

I was assured that The Accountant was a brilliant movie with an excellent depiction of neurodiversity. I found it dull and unmemorable, and Ben Affleck is generally unappealing.

Oh, and CA: Brave New World wasn't very good, as expected. Harrison Ford was not right for that at all. And the young Falcon sidekick needs to work on his elocution before speaking so quickly. And his acting. And Liv Tyler is still the worst thing about yet another movie.
