Offers nothing interesting, apart from being in 3D - which nobody wants since it died out in the sixties.

Currently first and third on the all-time box office list, so clearly somebody wanted it. Don't think many went to see either Avatar films for the story, acting or characters.

Mama Maria, which I went to by accident, not realising it was a musical.

How? I went to see Sweeney Todd at the cinema and two blokes who clearly thought it was a horror film experienced true horror when Johnny Depp started signing and immediately walked out. I can sort of get that, but Mama Mia(?).

I did no research. Mrs Charlie and daughter just told me it was a movie with Pierce Brosnan and Meryl Streep. They were a bit surprised when I said I'd join them. But not as surprised as I was when I noticed that half the audience were dressed in 70s Abba-type gear. The experience got worse when people started dancing (word used advisedly) in the aisles. This was an actual horror film as far as I was concerned, and I've never recovered.

Honestly thought Charlie was referring to a film I'd never heard of, possibly some kind of West Side Story related thing.

I have seen a lot of crap movies. Sometimes I know they're going to be crap but watch them in the hope that they're going to be enjoyable, and sometimes I hope they're going to be enjoyable but just turn out to be crap.

Of all the crap movies I have seen over the years, I am willing to state that Expend4bles is top 5 all time crap, and not really any fun at all. Even the inevitable big showdown fight between Statham and Iko Uwais (lead actor in The Raid), two outstanding screen combatants, manages to be formulaic and uninteresting.

Literally everything about this movie is dreadful, but special mention has to go to set design and cinematography which somehow manages to be too realistic to work with the cartoony violence, and yet too cartoony to be remotely plausible.

I almost want to recommend you see this to understand the depths it manages to plumb, but you all have better things to do with 100 precious minutes of your lives.

    I saw it at cinema
    Haven't seen 1-3.

It was pretty much what I thought it would be and passed a couple of hours one Sunday lunchtime.

I'd have to think about that. They'll likely be pretty much all sequels, I reckon. Bloodsport 2 is definitely up there.

How can we trust your reviews of the worlds worst movies, if you are not prepared to watch the shit ones?

    Allow me to quote myself:

There may very well be, in fact almost certainly are, enough crappier movies that I would have an entirely different top 5 all time crap were I to see them, but I will not be making any effort to do that. You are going to have to do your own research on this one.

I quite enjoyed Shaloin Soccer, and its success did mean that the superior Kung Fu Hustle got made.

    The Holdovers
Kinda seen it before and knew pretty much how it would play out but still really enjoyed.

Lovely, lovely film. But I am a sucker for pretty much anything with Paul Giamatti.
