Super Mario Bros was a bunch of fun, for a kid’s movie.
Surprised how close to the games it was. Obviously not much in the way of plot going on but it was all very well done.

Barbie is boring and not particularly controversial. Both Wifey and I found ourselves almost yawning through it. A couple of okay jokes but even a couple of drinks didn't enhance the enjoyment for us. Indiana Jones And The Dial of Destiny is dogshit. Clearly none of you should be Forest fans as your tastes are questionable at best. 2001 a Space Odyssey is clearly for people who like drugs. Turns out if I took mushrooms and watched it I would probably like it. Thought it was pretentious rubbish when I first saw it but have watched it a couple of times in my formative years. Maybe I would like it better now.
Waiting patiently for Oppenheimer to become available but may cave in and watch it on New Years eve.
Chicago: Uninspired.
Shazam 2 was a bit guff. Though one of the young ladies* has a cracking pair of norks so I endured the crapness till the end. The whole DC universe is in a weird place right now. Hopefully the Gunn reboot sorts it all out.
*I checked, she’s 23. A safe perv.
All the dipshit Universe stuff need to die. They all blend into one and not int the way they intended. Can't even be bothered to watch them when wasted.
Thanksgiving was a fun slasher with some entertaining kills. Absolutely nothing groundbreaking, but it's not supposed to be. Good performances by a bunch of mostly unknowns in the lead roles. Worth watching if you like formulaic slashers, not worth it if you don't.
We may have to blast!
Cocaine Bear.
Anyone disappointed in this movie have only themselves to blame. You should know exactly what you were letting yourself in for.
That said, it was still shit. But good shit in a ‘you know it’s shit but like it a bit’ way.
I didn’t know before hand that Ray Liotta was in it. Must have been one of the last movies he did before the cocaine finished him off.
I’m sure it must have gone over my head but Maestro is dull and pointless and just an excuse for Cooper and Mulligan to do a lot of acting.
This is going to be my winter project.

We'll see how far I get, in order to complete it by the end of March I'll need to watch three per week.
Watched The Holdovers last night. Loved it. YMMV, as it’s by the same director as Sideways and is very indie/Wes Anderson/gently-twee dramedy.
A lot of the old Japanese ones are available on Youtube, I know this because my son is obsessed with Kaiju's and makes me watch them with him.
That sounds right up my alley.
Pretty much all of the early ones, at least the first 8-10, are available for free on Plex and Tubi. I haven't looked past that.
How old is your son? Is he ready for Pacific Rim yet? That's one of my all time favourite movies to put on the projector with the sound cranked all the way up.

11, we did watch it, but he lost interest as none of the Kaiju were from the Godzilla-verse (if that's what its called).
Will try again soon.
Firstly what wally called this thread movies? Even auto correct tries to change it.
Watching ghostbusters afterlife. It's the goonies. It's ok but written for children. Sadly disappointed.
