I noticed the abridged (I think) version of The Fall of Deadworld audiobook is on Spotify the other day so that's a wwek or so's additional car listening sorted.

[Deleted a couple of names I didn't recognise]
I would watch the shit out of any film with this cast, although I would also expect it to be not good at all.

    Hayley Atwell
    Sean Bean
    Matt Berry
    Asa Butterfield
    Jemaine Clement
    Diane Morgan
    Reece Shearsmith as Bagman

It’s going to be animated which gives me some hope.

No you haven't, not if it's Rogue Trooper.

Get me a Strontium Dog movie and I'll be like a dog with two dicks.

Does it have any references to Forest in there? Perhaps an Alien hive in the depths of the City Ground or maybe a chest-burster tries to get out (of) Ryan Yates but he’s having none of it and gets it booked.

I said I would read it. Not buy it for $400 dollars. No offence but there are other things I can spend that amount on. I will look to Ebay to see if I can snag one for a bargain price.

The Substance is quite a ride. It's like Cronenberg grew a massive social conscience and made a movie about the fucked up standards that society applies to women. I can see why it's not for some people but I thought it was excellent.

Nor for some here as its animated, The Wild Robot is a simple heart warming movie, in a similar vein as Wall-E. Robot gets stuck on a wilderness island, helps a goose learn to fly, thoroughly recommend especially if watching with kids.

We wanted to watch the Substance as it is meant to be very good and also fucked up at the same time. We were in that mood last night.

Instead we settled for Emile Perez which was some kind of cartel trans musical thriller. Not what we thought and it wasn’t bad.

It was either that or the documentary Bad Faith which I think would have depressed me.

The new LOTR thing? Will await reports, as I want to see it, but reviews not been great so far, so may just wait to watch at home.
