I'm pretty sure women are more offended by the word cunt than men. Mostly those women who don't get their cunts filled enough. Not sure we're on very solid ground claiming cunt doesn't offend any particular group.

I'm evidently not the best person to be putting forward the argument here, but can you really not see a difference? It's not about offending anyone (imho) it's about offering terms that are derogatory to a different group.
I fully appreciate that I may errors in my use of words and I can accept correction. The old "offence is taken, not given" thing. I would not say "cunt" in polite society, and I wouldn't say "spastic" pretty much anywhere. And I'm ok with reviewing my use if someone tells me it's off. -
That's just your values. Other people have other values. Not least because often their lives are a lot more shit, and it's nice to feel that they aren't on the bottom rung of societies ladder sometimes. If you want to actually make that better, rather than hide it from your delicate disposition, you might consider giving them something. Rather than taking away one of the few things that they can afford.
...a lot of people don't have the luxury of the time to keep track of your demands on their language and behaviours, and they are not inclined to depress their own status even more (even if only in their heads). They certainly don't have time to resolve all of those minute value judgements that make sense to you.
Tolerance and inclusivity, to shape the society that we actually want. That should be the focus. We are not going to get anywhere near that if you keep getting bogged down in people saying 'spastic'.

On the contrary...I'm arguing for a wider debate around actual change, rather than useless tokenism. You are not minded to see the argument. That's often the nature of arguing.
This forum wouldn't continue to exist, if it wasn't for a strong stance in regard to free speech, and arguing the case over casual censorship. Maybe it's run it's course in the modern world.

What is shitty about a robust exchange of views, and forum in which you are free to express your opinion? I don't mind if I have challenged you, as I don't mind that you have challenged me. If you mean it would be nicer and fluffier that I told you that you were correct, when I don't think that you are, then...well.
