Finally had a chance to catch up on the Radio Nottingham coverage. The pre match update about the away seats Fenerbahce wrecked seemed to sum up our season for me:

    • Forest had to deal quickly with a seating situation inflicted on them (Though in hindsight it was perhaps somewhat self inflicted).
    • Forest dealt with the situation by replacing the seats with all red ones (Red's good isn't it? That's what we need. More red, more attacking is wot that is)
    • But this meant the white "N" of the "NFFC" seats disappeared (Oh no, we've lost our identity!)
    • And that meant the away stand now displayed an all too welcoming "FFC" for our next prem opponents: Fulham (Come one, come all, come beat Charity FC at home)
    • So they put in red seats for the first "F" as well, resulting in a generic "FC" (cuz now we're heading back to being generic FC in the EFL).

I wonder what odds I can get on the next Forest striker to score a prem goal at the City Ground to be Chris Wood, on the last day of the season. Especially given Chris Wood was the last Forest striker to score a prem goal at the City Ground... on the first day of the season.

Dyche wouldn’t play Kali and made some negative comments about him (alluding to training) and he needed a lump to hoof those diagonal balls at, so fairly likely it was Dyches call.

Dyche wasn't the first (or even second) manager to barely play Kali.
I don't doubt Dyche requested a centre-forward, someone tall, who could hold the ball up, attack crosses etc. I do, however, doubt Lucca was top of his list (tbh, I'd be surprised if he was even on Dyche's list).
I'm sure it's purely coincidental that Lucca's agent has previously had strong links with Arsenal.

Think you are clearly right. Kalimuendo wasn’t suited to a team playing 4231, so his signing made no sense, however good he is at what he can do. Whoever thought Lucca fitted the bill for a Dyche team wants firing anyway (so that’s worked out), because tall is the only part of that he fits.

I'd even argue he doesn't fit that as he doesn't jump so when others do he's no taller than them

I’d like to know who did and who didn’t want Strand Larsen. Somebody at Forest was clearly interested. Not buying SL could prove to be a very bad mistake.

Said this to my son the other night, he would've got the goals to keep us up.

Arsenal played Merino up front when all their strikers were injured. That's essentially the position we are in, they are all impaired. Stick Morato up there.

Did we have another £50m to spend without selling someone? And would he have come here, rather than Palace?

Tickets on general sale, and loads on exchange, if anyone fancies dropping £65.

The game was last Thursday Jake, I wouldn't buy a ticket now.

You can't expect him to be on it with retail news. Jake doesn't buy tickets, he expects other people to buy them for him.

I think a few people must have decided fuck it given we're going to put a second string out. Though most must have booked travel + hotel already so slightly surprised.
