You want? No difference apart from his total lack of pace and his ability to slow down every attack to let the defence get back and settled. He's a kind man in that respect I'll give you that.

Potential, I agree - but how many extra points will we get this season for his potential?

  • 13 Mar 2026, 12:51 p.m.

What lack of pace? He’s rapid.

  • 13 Mar 2026, 1:15 p.m.

Probably slightly more than the amount of times Jesus made the right run

  • 13 Mar 2026, 2:28 p.m.

Thankfully, we've just tried the 'former successful former player / manager / coach from an era long gone' approach otherwise it'd likely be Psycho, MoN or the Billiez up next.

    Gulp.

what about from an era not so long gone - I would love SSC back

  • 13 Mar 2026, 4:10 p.m.

Fair. Whoever made that decision would be rightly fired. Not just because it meant we still had no left back cover for Europe.
I still don't think we deserve relegation, but we've done more foot-shooting than I can remember anyone else doing in such a short period of time.

I think Spurs are running us pretty close. With some red cards and mutual headbutts thrown in.

  • 13 Mar 2026, 5:33 p.m.

I think Solanke is going to keep them up. He's going to get 3-4 goals and it'll be enough

  • 13 Mar 2026, 5:48 p.m.

I've never liked Solanke, but if we had someone score 3-4 goals for us then I reckon we'd stay up too.

Dyche wouldn’t play Kali and made some negative comments about him (alluding to training) and he needed a lump to hoof those diagonal balls at, so fairly likely it was Dyches call.

  • 13 Mar 2026, 9:22 p.m.

That can’t be true. Dyche is the best manager we ever had. He walked Brian Clough’s dog and is friends with Kasabian.

His (slightly too soon) podcast appearance with Winter and Pursloe highlights his fatal flaws and total inability to take any accountability. Sorry to those of you who like to blow him but he came across as a bit of a twat*. Contrast with Ange, who waited longer and at least showed some self-awareness.

    • I’m sure he’s not a twat but those of you who know him/his mates could possibly have a word. He slagged off players without giving examples (“It’s not for me to say….”) He didn't criticise EM because he knows which side his bread is buttered. He got a free ride from CP/HW because he’s one of the lads and even when they tried to push back, he spoke over them and grandstanded. I found it a very difficult listen. He clearly believes that playing the victim will serve him well, either for another managerial gig or on the podcast/after-dinner circuit.

Am I starting the Midgetland away thread? And providing live updates on my progress and search for a ticket through Denmark?

  • 13 Mar 2026, 9:31 p.m.

Definitely. It’s like a gammon and mince spin-off. Like your own El Camino

But don’t start it too soon. I know you’re excited but you can’t go off too early. (Resists “just ask Mrs Shady” gag)

  • 13 Mar 2026, 10 p.m.

Finally had a chance to catch up on the Radio Nottingham coverage. The pre match update about the away seats Fenerbahce wrecked seemed to sum up our season for me:

    • Forest had to deal quickly with a seating situation inflicted on them (Though in hindsight it was perhaps somewhat self inflicted).
    • Forest dealt with the situation by replacing the seats with all red ones (Red's good isn't it? That's what we need. More red, more attacking is wot that is)
    • But this meant the white "N" of the "NFFC" seats disappeared (Oh no, we've lost our identity!)
    • And that meant the away stand now displayed an all too welcoming "FFC" for our next prem opponents: Fulham (Come one, come all, come beat Charity FC at home)
    • So they put in red seats for the first "F" as well, resulting in a generic "FC" (cuz now we're heading back to being generic FC in the EFL).
