Another absolutely frustrating game. We need a massive dose of luck to score against Fulham. It would be nice if Hutchinson or Jesus actually shot first time. It’s a confidence Thing. What kind of Tiawo will turn up? Is he going to be preferred to Lucca?

I like him. He's a young kid playing at the highest level in a struggling side, which we shouldn't overlook. When a team doesn't score very often, it's probably natural to either snatch at chances when they come along, or take too many touches trying to set yourself for a better shot.

He told TNT in his post-match interview that he struggled to see in the second half when the rain came really heavy because his face cream was running into his eyes.

Would have been interesting to hear Keane's thoughts on that, had he been on the panel.

I usually think Hodge is a good judge, and he was very negative last night - especially about our striking options. Hope he’s wrong this time and we can find some goals from somewhere. For all his effort, I don’t see enough positional awareness or clever runs from Jesus but in the absence of the great January signing we didn’t make he’s about all we have. Time to get the hassocks and psalters out.

From the low-attention-span way he's run the club, Marinakis deserves the relegation he's probably going to get. Mind you, so would Brady/Sullivan and Lewis and they've put their clubs in this situation from a much higher starting position.

If we don't win at least one of spurs or Fulham, I think it's a safe bet that Marinakis will be rifling through the rolodex to see if there's anyone who'll take the job and might do better.

We need to look for a mad scientist type who can use DNA therapy techniques to turn Lucca into something approximating a footballer.
