This isn't as bad as last year at the moment, despite the scoreline.

[Edited because shamefully I let this guy get a rise out of me]

You need to get a new hobby that isn't targeting someone you don't know and have never met who has never done anything to you with low level electronic bullying/needling. You're a grown (middle aged I suspect?) man who presumably in the real world is able to participate in civilised society.

Bringing on Montiel, rather than Worrall is brave.

Last year was a capitulation. A total humiliation. Lodi on his debut looked terrified. We fell apart and it was one way. It could have been 10. Today we have been put the sword but we are still passing it about, even creating bits and bobs (mainly bobs but not nothing) and we haven't completely done that at the expense of losing our shape and giving up on the plan. So far at least. We are going to lose of course but we are going to lose better than we did last year, and they are very good indeed.

    Still 2-0?
    Have Man City got bored?
Are we distracting them with comics and pick n mix?

Was just thinking that it was starting to look like the game last season where City always seemed to have a man over. And the defense looks like they’ve just met. Oh dear, indeed.

No, we actually settled into it a little bit. Dominguez looks ace, his movement and first touch are really good and he already looks to be up to speed for the Prem. Taiwo and MGW are struggling a bit with their control in tight space, and Tavares and Montiel are/were both garbage.

    BrettWilliams and jamesob like this.

Russ may be able to help with the context, but this looks pretty cast-iron...

The length of time for the VAR review does suggest trying to find a reason not to inconvenience Man City.

Gibbs White has been utter gash.
Montiel makes good attacking runs but I'm glad he's not having to do any defending
