I think we are going to win this one and no, I am not pissed.

Pep mentioned in his presser yesterday that 'our next game is against Nottingham Forest, who have won the European Cup more times than we have'.

Felt he blotted his copybook slightly by pausing before looking up to the assembled media and adding, 'No really, I'm not joking', as if it was the first time they'd heard that. Perhaps some of them had.

Bernardo Silva, Kevin de Bruyne, Jack Grealish, Mateo Kovacic and John Stones all out on Saturday apparently.

If you mean lose by 3 goals or less, I'll take that as a win.

I'm travelling hopefully. When I say travelling, I mean going nowhere...and when I say hopefully, I mean it's a free roll.

If the game goes our way, you could see us getting something out of the game...but you wouldn't make us anything like favourites for even a draw.

As a technical.point can you be favourite to get a draw in a two team contest?

I'm actually travelling there, but not very hopefully. Anything better than a three goal defeat would represent good progress.

It would be nice if we could 'Chelsea' them. Unfortunately they're a lot better than Chelsea. Perhaps we can keep them to 3.

I take the point, and it's badly expressed on my part. In the sense that we would be long odds to get anything, I expect so. Clearly if 'draw' is the outcome it's equal adds for the two teams...but I did say not favourite for 'even' a draw....implying that the most likely outcome is a manshitty win.

Name of the game is improvement on last season. Defeat by 5 or less isn't a disaster.

I've been lucky enough to get a ticket. I'll be arriving on the train at about 12. Suggestions for drinking places are welcome.

I recommend a pub...though you might prefer a pop up bar in condemned car park.[winky woo]

Just realised I'm not going to be able to watch this as I'll be in NYC all weekend. Debating recording it and attempting to avoid the score until I'm back Monday and can watch, but that seems unlikely.

It's no Montreal but maybe the city doesn't matter, I just have to be in another city to get a result for Forest.

Neither of my kids can make it with me now, so I have a spare u18 ticket. If by some chance anyone has a child/teen/someone who looks 18ish who wants to go let me know...

Shades of Nathan Tyson Opportunism in this post. I like it.

Fuck it. I would be ecstatic with a draw. A win would be fantastic.

Always got to dream big. Let's beat the money doping cheats. They lost their best player when they sold Palmer to Chelsea anyway... (snicker..)
