I have never met his daughter though, and if I had she'd have been a child given it's 20 years since I worked with him.

I rather liked Francis Benali, and his committing acts of gross indecency against wingers. Talks very well, and comes across as a good guy. I wouldn't personally sexualise his daughter, who is a complete stranger to me. But I suppose we are all different.

My abiding member of Benali as a player is Brid and I spending an afternoon away at Huddersfield watching him kick Simon Baldry to bits, and as he got progressively nastier the ref continued to refuse to book him. Early in the second Franny absolutely clattered Baldry nowhere near the ball, he turned to the ref to get the yellow card he knew was finally coming, and the ref just jogged past as everyone in the stadium, Benali included, looked incredulously at him. Baldry was subbed a few minutes later.

Yes absolutely, I just remember sitting next to Brid. It's almost guaranteed you were there as well because the vast majority of away games I went to were with you.
