He has quite a few goals and assists in spite of this. You can see why we took a chance on him, if we can coach him to make better decisions and improve his final ball, we're probably in for a Johnson-sized transfer fee.
Angry at that penalty. Aina brushes him. But he puts his foot firmly on the floor .... Then dives. Fuck sake.
I missed the first 25 minutes, but of what I have seen Morgan, Elanga and Sangare all look good so far.

Two strikers in the studio. Les Ferdinand and (I think) Darren Bent. Both basically just laughed and admitted that he threw himself down to get the penalty but ‘there was contact’, and they’d have done the same, so definitely a penalty. The likes of them having been saying the likes of that for decades, without challenge, and so it has apparently become the law of the game.
Neither VAR nor the ref were going to overturn it because nobody in any position of influence wants that not to be a penalty. Or, at least, an entirely defensible decision.
