It’s a decision an away team would never get.

Clear dive for me. Not sure where we go with a game where that is considered a foul. But there was contact, say the pundits.

So fucking what. I thought it was a contact game?

Absolutely no doubt that he threw himself to the ground the vicinity of possible light contact. Totally cheating. And habitually rewarded.

Soft penalty, Newcastle not much bet than us, feel that we can get a goal or 2 if we calm down a bit.

Montiel and Sangare looking ok and Danilo looking like a a sub at halftime.

    Newcastle: 459

Glad I’m not the only one who thinks that. I was listening to the certainty of the commentary team and thinking I must be going mad.

I really like Elanga, but his decision-making is so frustrating at times - clearly reflected in his price, age and Premier League experience, to be fair. He's definitely well worth persevering with, but, my word, I can't understand why he's not rolled Wood in there for the simplest of tap-ins.

Newcastle are clearly a decent side but not impenetrable on this evidence and with this injury list.

And there's the flipside from Elanga. Brilliant from him and brilliant from Morgan.

Brilliant from MGW and brilliant from Chris Wood (check his movement).
The cross was very fortunate to reach Wood though and I’m surprised Elanga managed to stay onside.
Elangas pace is a threat and affects how teams defend against us. But his decision making and final ball are generally terrible.

Looked like four angles. Three show clearly no contact, one looks like there might have been a touch before Isak threw himself to the ground. At least let the ref have another look at it.
