My missus is vote counting tonight. I shall ask her tomorrow how many rude spoiled ballots she got.

Last time out there was a few crudely drawn penises and at least one ‘none of these fucking cunts!’ and there’ll be at least one rude spoiled ballot this year in the mix as I’ll be doing one shortly.

    If I can be arsed.

I am automatically suspicious of any pub with conspicuously displayed national flags.

To be fair it's not there anymore. Think it disappeared when a new landlady took over about a year ago. But it is still that sort of pub, frankly.
My 'favourite' was a couple of summers ago when I was walking past on the way back from the shop. As it was a lovely evening there were plenty of people sat outside, obviously making as much noise as possible whilst a bloke was taking a slash against the side of a transit van because he clearly couldn't be arsed to walk a few yards into the pub. He saw me clocking him, shrugged and smiled, like that made it better.

We've had a heavy dinner so going for a walk. Torn between taking no ID as a protest against voter ID, all three of us voting for the same candidate, probably guaranteeing them victory, or drawing cock and balls.

I guess it's make your mind up time cocks on the blocks time.

Boris Johnson turned away from a polling station for not having photo ID - legislation he introduced as PM.
    Fucking tosser.

I really can’t see how the Tories won’t get rid of Sunak now.

But any in the party with half a brain know the public have had enough of them and their time is up.

Only an idiot would want to lead them into the next election, so there could be a a few wanting to do it.

He’s a busted flush. He was well down in the polls before he was turfed out. But I can see why they’d be stupid enough to think he was the answer.

It's too late to get rid before an election, would be madness to go into the next election with the fourth prime minister since the last one, they'd seem like complete jokers. So let's call it a 50/50.

I know it's not technically necessary for the prime minister to be an MP and the current Tory party are all in favour of breaking norms but I can't see it.

Just reading how Labour have done badly in Oldham council elections on back of votes going to Pro Palestine independents.

Seems like something has gone wrong (maybe it was always thus?) if local councils are being elected on their stance on Palestine (or other non local issues).

At least it looks like the East Midlands has, for once, not given Ben Bradley another job.

I so hope this is true.
And given he's spent much of the last year pretty much on the campaign trail (why else would the Nottinghamshire Council leader and Mansfield MP be visiting factories in Derby, for example?), I'd have thought Notts residents and particularly those in Mansfield have legitimate questions of whether he is actually representing their interests, and not just his own.

And if we can somehow get him to be stripped of his season ticket (see also Lee Anderson whose smug face is causing me grief every home match) then so much the better.

Russians (not russians). If only they had taken Russ's advice and bought 'their' domain names, all of this could have been avoided.*

Hoping the rumours about how close it is are just sowing the seeds for the whining conspiracy theories that will come out after Khan wins again.

But recent experience tells me people are idiots…
