I wouldn't call Nelson a flop. Think he was our top scorer and one of our better players that season. I would've been happy for him to have joined permanently.

I really liked the look of O'Brien and thought he could do a job for us, but accept it might be now that he's inevitably fallen too far behind better (and more expensive) players.
I could see him being a more than serviceable left fullback, but you feel it would be better for the player to move on.
I think at the moment, he needs a solid half season at Middlesbrough and see what happens. Depending on the points deduction, there's a fair chance the club that owns him could be back in the championship next season in which case, I expect we'd want him around.

Gas fans are raving about Aguilera - as well as the goal he apparently ran the midfield, wasn't afraid of the rough stuff, and generally looked far too good for L1.
I'd hoped that might be the case. His Blackpool cameo showed that he has technical ability allied to hard work, direct running and controlled aggression. I was really impressed that night how he put himself about and wasn't afraid to get stuck in. Coming off the bench away at lower league opposition in the FA Cup to make your debut is far from easy.
Could be a key player for us if we're in championship next year and lose MGW.
