In these uncertain times, we all need to stand up and show courage and leadership. So this thread is here to document the outstanding acts of bravery that we have undertaken to provide inspiration to confront the challenges that we face.

    I'll get you started:

I just licked the remnants of tzatziki from the naked blade of a blender.

First in our little cul-de-sac to put the bins out on Thursday evening. Others duly followed.

It was the black one. Luckily correct.

Binfluencing is a stressful undertaking but sometimes you have to just jump in.

I'm unsure if there's a joke here I don't get or a random plot twist in the Chicago soap opera storyline has occurred!

Took the chance of asking my Principal if I could teach AP Literature next year even though I’d never been interested and it’s probably lots more work. Partly because the other opportunity I was looking at doesn’t look like it’s going to work out, partly because it’s less chance of teaching the disruptive and incurious kids, and partly because the only person to want it so far is incredibly annoying to the point that the current teacher all but begged me to find anyone else interested.
Meeting with the Principal on Tuesday to talk about it.

Had to cancel the meeting with my principal because I’m proctoring loads of exams. In the Interim a principal at another school offered me a better job (than my current one). Told him I’d need the weekend but I’m pretty sure I’m going to take it.

That doesn’t seem to be trivial enough for “living on the edge.”

I'm currently changing name servers and DNS on a set of domains. Then just initiated a registrar transfer for them, without bothering to wait for DNS propagation, to check them.

    Like an absolute boss.

Does proctoring mean moderating? And is a principal the same as a head?

Why are you asking if you already know?
And if you really want to know, I teach advanced studies, so technically I invigilate exams. (The International Baccalaureate is based in Cardiff.)

Fair. It’s a bit closer to my house so the commute is five minutes shorter?
