Last week was a wake up call. We have an off day and we get pummeled. Brighton are nowhere near as fast on the break as The Muff but they do have Mitoma who is a speedy muthafcuka. Keep him quiet and he won’t be able to feed Welbeck who should be kept in check by the Serbinator.

We need to show up in this game because of the chasing pack and the transfer window. Show Cunha, Wissa whoever the fuck that we mean business…. Do you???

I think we will win as Anthony Taylor isn’t our ref (is he?) and someone will get sent off but hopefully none of ours. Sosa on for CHO please. Jota can sod right off back to the bench.

    2-0 Forest. Elanga and wood.

And that mardy German has another spat and someone twats the cunt.

    Chicago: Hoping for a reaction.

Missed opportunity to coin the phrase:

"We're serious about Europe... Are you?"

    Disappointing.

I’ve seen lots of people suggest a back three for this one. Probably mostly on the basis we got hammered last time, so need a chance. But that should push Aina up the pitch and leave Milenkovic, one on one against Mitoma, which seems suboptimal.

On the plus side it’s a way of not having to start either Silva or Sosa. Personally I’d favour the extra midfielder as the solution to that, but I could see why a back 3 is attractive as well.

Hopefully Mitoma has had his head turned by the Saudi offer anyway.

Yeah, I get that and totally understand the desire to get our best eleven players on the pitch in a formation that works but, in this particular game, I think it would be a mistake. If he doesn’t fancy Sosa, I’d be tempted to move Anderson to the wing and JWP into midfield (or pair Yates and Dominguez).

That's my inclination. I want us to be hard to beat on Saturday. I would take 0-0.

I'd rather put Anderson out wide than Dominguez, but we know that Nuno prefers Nico there.

Think Ward-Prowse, at least in theory, would allow us to keep the ball better. And that’s not saying Yates and Dominguez are cloggers who just boot the ball away.

Apparently Brighton have turned down £95m for Mitoma from Saudi (no interest in remembering any of their pretend club names).

The player must have said no, surely? Or is the Euro conference worth that much money to Brighton (I have no idea)?
Not many players I'd keep for 95M.

Who knows? If it was a European club, you’d think they wouldn’t be wasting their time unless they knew he wanted to sign.

Champions league is unlikely to be worth that much, so no idea what’s going on.

Also seen that Cashin finally signed for Brighton. Guessing he won’t play.

Danillo starts. Sangarre on the bench. Not sure of the formation.

Got to be 343, with Danilo and Anderson as the 2 central midfielders, I think?
