Cooper has always spoken really highly of Worrall, including this season in the aftermath of what happened with his uncle. I'd be surprised if poor performance alone led to him being frozen out, would be off-brand for Cooper.
Whatever the reason though, it needs sorting. I think Worrall and Yates in the dressing room (even if not on the pitch) are key to recapturing the spirit of last season.

It makes no sense to me whatsoever, that those arguing we shouldn’t be near relegation are affronted by playing Yates, who gives us the best chance of getting points. Play Dominguez or Sangare in the next match instead of Yates and we will be way less competitive

Luton (he came on when 2-0 up - I’m not blaming him for that cooper debacle though)

So 10 of our 14 points have come with him not starting.
But again, the reason Yates (and Kouyate to some extent) didn't play in those matches was because Sangare was playing and briefly looking like he can play.

Ryan Yates excels in the things that translate to a crowd instantly. I'm a well documented fan of that shit. Thats why he has a rabid fanbase. Your case against him seems to hinge on all that being bad stuff, despite the team performance improving when he's included.
I haven't seen anything to suggest that Sangare is better than Yates in this side. He has been caught on the bll multiple times and hasn't perfected the dark arts of the Yatesy foul. The African needs to spend more time with our Ryan so he can get with the Programme.
I have no problem with Ingo's statement about Yates. As for Cooper. Nothing to do with our love of Cooper. How many people were upset that Shelvey was frozen out of the side after his mardy last season? I would say none. What is not to suggest Joe did the same thing and Coops is being consistent.

Shelvey was a shit mercenary looking for a pay day. Joe Worrall is the club captain who was here long before Cooper arrived, and will hopefully be here long after he's gone. There's no comparison at all between the two; Joe has been left out before and he's knuckled down to earn his place back, things started going south when Cooper threw him under the bus after Luton - something he has been increasingly doing in post loss press conferences. At some point the cult members should probably ask why we keep changing personnel and keep losing.

Putting aside enjoying a night out, the last two games have seen an uptick in performance which granted has been industrial, but its better than the rollover at Fulham or the limp surrender to Everton.

Au contraire, it's the point of it. Like the old joke goes, I once went to a fight and a hockey game broke out. But while it's fun watching your team forechecking the shit out of the opponents, if they don't have the quality to use the puck and score and ultimately lose, you still leave unhappy.
OK, but we haven't won either of them. We're going to start winning consistently by getting better performances out of our better players, and Ryan Yates isn't one of them. To my previous point - the fact that Cooper can get Championship players to play to the best of their abilities but not players used to a higher standard of football seems like a pretty clear suggestion that he has reached his ceiling with us, and it's not good enough to match the owner's ambitions, or mine.
I'm now thinking Cooper should go, it seems to be a win win. Either things improve in which case happy days or they don't/get worse in which case Russ looks like a total tool.
