I dunno Jim, I can't imagine why they would think that 3000 people from a city known for social deprivation, 30p Lee and support for Thatcher's union-busting policies turning up and singing "Sign on, sign on" to the tune of their city rival's anthem were a bit divvy.

As funny as the chant is I very much doubt we can take sole responsibility for it. And anyway, if the away fans can't use lazy stereotypes in thier songs then I'm not really sure there is any point in an away section, everyone might as well just mix and sit around wanking each other off. Tbf, to the rest of the EPL we’re a pretty unlikeable club at the moment, primarily due to the actions of our owner.

I used to think like that but:

A) we're not here to be liked
B) we're not hugely worse than any of the others

True, but I used to like the fact that, back in t'day under Cloughie, we were everyone's second club. We were getting to be in a similar position under SSC in our first year back until the owner started wanting more attention and now we're pretty much universally disliked.
