Not an owner, but that was that time Phil Permatan Orange and Jumper Over Shoulders Brown gave his players a bit of a talking to like naughty school children during his bizarre on the pitch HT team talk.

But then he really was / is a weapons grade bellend of the highest order. EM is just a bit mental.

Anyway I've got my perspective back a bit now.

Thursday night European CLASH. Bring it.

I'm coming around to it now too. I've known this pain has been coming for the last month or so. I'm glad it's now over.

My fleeting disappointment has passed and I'm looking forward to Talkback on tour - we're going Contimental. Some of you are bound to get up to daft shit on the backstreets of Berlin, Budapest and Brussels, making a pleasant change from Bolton, Blackpool and Blackburn. Why do these places always start with a B?
Another encounter with Anderlecht might be fun, although I see they are 4th in their league. Don't know what that gets them.

    EURODISCO!

European football is ace. People (non-forest fans) keep saying to me stuff about how it will damage our season next year, the squad won't cope blah blah blah. Fuck that. The chances of Forest qualifiying again through league positions going forward are pretty slim, so I want to grab it now, while I'm still (just about) young enough for a EuroDisco. I've got fantasic memories of Auxerre, Lyon, Munich away in the 90s and home games against Eindoven, Anderlect etc in 84. I want me (and my lad) to experience that one more time, whether its a Tuesday, Wednesday, or a Thursday with CHO.

Isn't "big fat man walks around like he owns the place shouting and being all Greek" what we signed up to 8 years ago?

I found yesterday particularly disappointing because we had gone up 2-1 and then retreated into a shell. It was obvious what was coming and knowing that when it happened just made me furious. I spent the rest of the day digging dirt and mulching. This was our best chance of keeping the squad together. I was more concerned about that than our Europeans adventures because of the perils of Relegation. I know. A bit irrational but y’know Forest….

I will though be delighted with Europa if Citeh beat Palarse and that is not a given because it provides a springboard to the Champs league without having to do it the top four way. Conference league can go blow because you know we will lose in Iceland or something…. And the money is 12 quid. ((C) ingo).

The biggest challenge this year is the off season . Can we keep MGW and Elanga? I certainly hope so but money is money is money…. (#bigclubcartel)….

So not expecting much from the last two games but I would piss myself laughing if villa pipped cheatski to the champions league when we beat them…

    Chicago: Mixed feelings.

If you have any expectation that MGW is going to stay, then your going to be disappointed, if PEP want’s him, he’s gone.

I'm not sure it was an intentional retreat (for once). I think we were just fucking knackered.

This is the bit I don't understand. His optimum skill-set seems to be anti-pepstyle, to me. I suppose he's just the next attempt at Pep proving that he can completely re-programme a grealish-a-like. He probably just likes tinkering with things and taking them to bits.

Yes this. He's great on the turn. Running at a scattered defence and picking out a pass.

On the other hand, maybe that is just the team that we are and he's fitting in. Maybe he can change and excel as someone picking apart a defence that has sat back.

He can put his foot on the ball, read the flow of a move, and pick the best option....as well as playing high risk reward stuff. It's just that a little part of me will die when Pep robotises him.

Champions league was our best shot at keeping him. Hopefully we can take Citeh to the cleaners whilst taking McAtee,, O’Riley in exchange and Grealish on loan in return. And then they get relegated for cheating.

Anyway, I would like MGW for just a little longer because he is a maverick talent and we would defiiitely become more predictable without him.

    Chicago: Dreamer.

    !!!?*!

Never give in, not even when they nail the box shut. We ain't in the ground yet.

Rumours that Taiwo was taken to hospital today for surgery. Mental if that is the case. The offside was obvious. Just flag and be done with it.

Although I think Big T is a giant bumbling calamity waiting to happen due to the Bambi on ice routine he usually brings to the field. This is nuts if it is true.

    Details here

    Chicago: Not this accident prone.

Poor big T. I shall lend him some tape if I see him.

The current state of officiating is catastrophically inept. By accident, or by design, is the only real debate.
