Obviously if a change of formation to five in the midfield then McAtee will feature as the 10.

These are experience players apart from Abbott and Jair (and Jair has played a fair few games).

My team is completely fair. If we have a squad that can compete on all fronts then use them.

The hard game willl he great for Yates and Boly the other players will have to dig in against a super physical (I am guessing) performance.

Quite at peace with using my line up. We are short of defenders so Savona or the Serbinator as cover for a switch to a 3-5-2 would be fine.

    Chicago: Resourceful.

Although some of them are a bit lightweight for a lower league humping.

They are 7th in the championship. Does that count as lower league?

Chic's obsession with Taiwo is bit baffling.

I am not at all obsessed with Taiwo. I just think based on what he can do he should be given a chance if he is fit. He could be another weapon. He was good at the end of the first season and the start of the second. Obviously it looked like he was on the outs at the moment but if it's a new slate why not a tough game against Championship opposition. Same with Jesus. It is baffling that a player actually in the squad would be totally ignored unless your name was Emmanuel Dennis.

If he is poo then there are other forward players ready to go. We live in such transactional times, it's amazing. Oh he's shot, fuck him. If he was completely useless he would have been left out and yes I know Aina's injury made him slightly less disposable but again, Give him a chance.

Are we going for success on all fronts? IF so and that is the mandate, play the boys and not kill the first team,. You could be in for a lovely surprise...

    Twats the lot of you.

    Chicago: Optimist.

See we lost, though most of the Prem teams did. Not sure whether anyone gets anything out of these games. Do Braintree now look back fondly on the time they beat Forest?

Swansea have got thousands of tickets still to sell. Surprising given the stadium isn't huge.

Stamenic is injured, so the expected flood of Kiwis won't be there.

The theory is that it gives our academy players the benefit of some experience of playing "men's football". In general, the quality of players coming through the academy systems seems to have improved since they went to the current structure, so probably it's working?

Certainly it's a vastly preferable way to acheive that aim than B teams in the lower leagues.

If we could give Swansea an absolute tonking tonight it would really help lift my mood around Forest.

We could have them play men's football by letting league clubs develop them in their teams rather than stockpiling kids in Premier League academies as a cash cow for already excessively wealthy clubs.
