The last time I can remember seeing her was at the last Talkback tournament.
In fact you can hear her alongside cameraman Dubya here:

That sucks. Condolences to those of you who knew her well.

It was always lovely to spend time around her on the occasions I did.. and Brian was a big part of my formative years of being a Forest fan.

Really sorry to hear that and condolences to all her knew her. I have a very vague recollection that @Jeff_Albertson introduced us in a pre-match pub at Burnley about 15 years ago.

Similar. Met her and Graham (among other Talkback luminaries) in the late 00s after a match. All very friendly, especially considering I was very much the worse for wear.

I didnt knowingly meet her but I've got every issue of The Brian in my loft. Sad news. She was an important part of my forest upbringing, probably without realising the significance.

Sorry to hear. I never met her but had of course seen her username and occasional posts around these parts (particularly in the early TB years and later updates on Graham). Sad news.

What a dreadful piece of news to start the day. Jules was a lovely person, one of the best. The absolute highlight of Bandy & Shinty was getting to know her, it was a genuine privilege.

Gutted. Not seen her for too long, but happy and hazy memories of several prematch sessions across the country. RIP Jules.

I think I met her once and she was really nice. Sometimes you can get a view of the person by the detail of the condolence messages. So much depth on this thread. She must have genuinely been a cracking person.

Notice Danny Taylor has tweeted about Jules today, including a photo of her with the skipper from a friendly at Cobh Ramblers in the early 1990s. Presume that fixture must have been part of the Keane deal.

I have failed miserably in completing this website where were archiving all the Bandy & Shinty stuff, but for anyone who didn't buy the originals (as if there is such a person here!) then Julie's memories of that trip can be read here:

Funeral will be 1.15pm on Fri 10th April at Rushcliffe Oaks Crem.

The wake will follow at The Cottage Hotel in Ruddington.

Rob and the family would like it to be an informal occasion, so feel free to wear football shirts and scarves and give Julie a good send off.

Cracking little piece that. She was a very talented writer. Hope Forest recognize her at one of the remaining home games. It's news like this that makes me miss home and wish that we web mongs could get together more often. I guess I am a sentimental sod after all.
