Well if we qualify for Champions league and Arsenal don’t go for him then I think we can get him in the summer.

We had 24 up to the end of December, added Hennessey, removed Omobamidele, so still at 24. If JWP was going back to West Ham, you’d think it would have happened by now.

Personally I wouldn’t be at all surprised if we sign no-one this window.

I’m not saying that’s what I want in an ideal world, but Nuno has been saying for several days that they’re only going to buy if someone “special” becomes available, & that tends not to happen in January.

It would be a risk, particularly up front, but I’d rather we signed no-one than wasted money on a panic buy. No transfer is a lot better than a crap transfer, especially if we keep everyone.

Wouldn’t surprise me if we paid the price for Wissa. Not least because there was a clip recently where he acknowledged our interest. But otherwise I can’t see it.

The lack of noise around our transfer activity does make me think we're not going to do anything.
