Ok, that's a shame.
Puts our squad up to 25 as well, so it's one-in one-out from now (and Dennis isn't in that 25, so his departure wouldn't make a difference).

I assume Omo is off imminently in some form if he wasn't included on Saturday,
Our first signing of the window is ... Wayne Hennessey. Hopefully because Bott is going on loan and doesn't mean that Sels is injured or he was so pissed off at Miguel's distribution, he needs a new backup.

That confirms I’m not completely losing it; I was convinced that I caught a fleeting glimpse of Hennessey in the “preparing for Pooton” video a few days ago, but assumed I must have imagined it. This suggests I probs didn’t.
If Bott is injured, it’s a no-brainer; the club know exactly what they’re getting (& presumably he must be one of those “positive influence behind the scenes” types), he won’t be on a massive wedge, & in May everyone can shake hands & move on
It was my understanding that he had been coaching with us this season anyway, so this is presumably just adding him back as a player now he's healthy. We only had 24 senior first teamers registered in the first half anyway, so if he'd have been fit maybe he'd have been there.
Do we get to make up 25 new names after the january window, or do we have to knit one, purl one, from the existing list?
24 senior first teasers
No wonder we invite the opposition on...

I think we submit a new list in early February.
I do quite enjoy a list, if I'm honest. I've found this more and more as I've got older.
I especially enjoy a list within a spreadsheet.
Even more so with some sort of nice, if largely pointless, graphical data representation.
Reports that West Ham still want Taiwo. For me, if we can get at least our money back and a replacement that we genuinely rate and isn't a panic, then he can leave.
I unfortunately agree. But it makes me sad.
Even if T stays, we still need a striker this month. If he goes then I'd expect us to sign two - one to challenge Wood and one youngster from South America as back up and for the future.
There was a moment last night, 3 or 4 mins to go, where we managed to get hold of the ball and get it up to Taiwo, in space near half way. A chance for our defence to catch their breath. He turned, and ran the ball out of play.
He seems a lovely bloke, and he isn't being helped by sporadic appearances. But I'm struggling to be postive about him at present.

I know you shouldn't be too influenced by one touch but that may have been the final straw for me. It's fine to say he needs a run of games but he's not going to get that unless Wood gets injured, so we need someone who doesn't.
That moment was right in front of us and my heart sank too.
Same. Head in hands moment.
Taiwo is great, and it would be sad if he left, but he's the personification of Bambi on ice with his first touch. His best attributes lay elsewhere.
