Really do think we’ve fucked him over. It’s crazy that he’s been our player for nearly three years and not played a minute.

We'll have seen him right on the old pay-rise front but you're right, we have Zach Cloughed the shit out of him.

Who knows, perhaps Bowler's agent can pull a rabbit out of the hat and get him a similar move to the southern hemisphere. Or he could just as easily find himself back at Blackpool, which has a large rollercoaster but shitter weather. It's a coin toss, I guess.

Didn't we buy him as a prudent spot of contingency Championship promotion campaign planning in the (quite likely at the time) event of going straight back down?

Turns out we didn't. Seems fair enough to me.

Kinda. When we bought him he was a top the Championship player and on the rise. He's now mid table league one player ...

So the word going around has been that we are after a very expensive striker that has major interest from other Premier League clubs but doesn't play in England and is not Brazilian. I speculated Stanley Victor Osimhen. Turns out,...probably not. BOO! The two favourites now are Dusan Vlahovic, and Benjamin Sesko.

Having said all that, it could be pony and we do something left field. I would love Mammmmmmmmooooosh or Dibling. Neither of these have been mentioned as we are looking at an out and out striker and like Tricky says, I would like some Taiwo love. Starting with Everton or Luton.

    Chicago: Still going to Europe.

We've outgrown poor Chris Wood in just 4 months.
I like Ben Sesko as a deep space number nine.

    Bit niche?

Seen a link with Estupinan, no idea how reliable, but left back does seem a likely area for the summer, if not now. Still think Lodi is the best we've had since promotion and would be good to get back to that level.

Estupinan sounds like some sort of 'elite' public school alumi establishment figure.

    Tricky would like him.

Mrs Charlie refers to Estupinan as A Stupid Man.

I think if I was in charge of recruitment at Yanited, I'd be looking seriously at MGW. They need two 10s for Amorim's formation, he was a united fan as a kid, proven in the Premier league now, good age and the right attitude.

They could do worse than buy our whole squad. It would be an upgrade.

Said a few weeks ago that I wouldn't swap any of their team for ours, based on last night, I don't think I'd swap many for the team that got us promoted.

I'm perhaps being hopeful rather than realistic, but my impression is that they are teetering on the edge of FFP issues. Can they afford the £60m they'd need to spend to get him from us? Honestly that place looks a fucking mess too. I'd steer well clear if I was him.

I'd take Rashford off them. He'd be desperate to stick it to the man.
