I made sure I went on Tuesday night as I'd told myself this may be as good as it ever gets. They * will find a way to punch us back down to our place.
*Most likely the Russians.

All true - but in the Summer. We now know for sure that we’re currently fine with PSR (July could be different; who knows?), so we’d be nuts to “cash out” on Murillo, Elanga or anyone similar at this stage - & Marinakis isn’t nuts (at least, not in that way!).
Surely going to be Murillo; we already have Morato (David / Fred * Carmo on loan in Piraeus) & it can only be a matter of time before a rich club can no longer resist someone who is already a world class talent & has massive scope to develop further. Even if we qualify for the Big One and he signs a new contract this could still be so - the new contract simply ensures we get full value for him. Villa had to sell when they qualified, & I’d expect us to be similar
P.S. Taiwo’s different. If (& it’s a big if) we can get a replacement in, I’d let him go out on loan.
Flagrantly ageist anti-victorian nonsense. Apart from that, all good.
I don't see why Marinakis would sanction sales now. He wants us to win big, selling now isn't going to help us win big. If we have any PSR concerns this year, we've a young lad who's been on the bench a few times who is probably worth, for PSR terms, £25 million.
If he stays fit, it will be Murillo. Morato and Carmo are lefties, so we've actually been pretty proactive in our succession planning and given a couple of options. And, while Milenkovic is an outstanding defender and leader, he isn't enough of a footballer for one of the superclubs to be prepared to pay the kind of money we'd accept in the current time. The days of the likes of John Terry and Nemanja Vidić winning titles are, I think, in the past.
But I was pretty resigned to Murillo leaving last summer, so who knows? But he turns 23 this coming summer and will have played 70 odd premier league games by then, so will have shown last season wasn't just a flash in the pan.
My prediction is he signs a new contract, we get into the Champion League, he stays another year, then moves to Real Madrid.
A point to consider:
Each place higher in the Premier League nets you about £3.1m in prize money.
Finishing 5th instead of 15th gives us £30m we hadn't budgeted for.
I think
Also, Carmo doesn't seem to be doing that well in Pireaus. I'm personally not sure we'll ever see him in Nottingham.
Which is why getting two options was remarkably sensible. (Presumably Morato is here because of our Brazilian group, while Carmo had spent the second half of last season at Olympiacos.)
Percy linking us with Wissa. Seems like a strange one. Obviously a really good player but surely not worth paying the price Brentford would want.
Who the fuck is Carmo?
He's playing 90 minutes almost very game?
Was just on a business call with an LFC fan. His admiration for Murillo was effusive. "How is he in 3 places at the same time?". He had also heard of interest from LFC
Maybe I'm being harsh - I just read a few comments that were quite critical (while praising Biancone).
Sofascore suggests he has started 12 out of 18 Greek Super League games + 4 out of 6 europa games if I'm reading it correctly.
