He changed his mind. The attraction of playing for Thomas Frank, for a few weeks, was too great.

I don't see it as likely we sell him in this window. I don't see a remote possibility we keep him in the summer.

When looking at the four linked strikers I actually thought he looked the best option if that’s the type of striker we are going for.

Experienced, will be ‘cheap’ and the short term option we need to get us through this (what will be short) Dyche era.

Much more sensible than spunking £40m on Strand Larsen who is very underwhelming.
