There's a deep drive into left field by Castellanos, and that will make it a 4-0 ballgame. I don't know if I'll be putting this headset on again.

Kalimuendo on loan with an option to Frankfurt appears to be near. Assume that means someone in? We can't be intending to play out the remainder until Wood's return with just Jesus and Taiwo.

We've played the season so far like that...
None of our 3 managers have considered him worth playing. Which makes whoever decided to sign him look inept (or in receipt of a big brown envelope).

Left-back Josh Powell has been recalled from his loan at Colchester - he's not featured for a few weeks, so presume it's for another loan to give him game time. (tbh, I think he'll be released in the summer anyway)

Crystal Palace, Leeds and Nottingham Forest are interested in Newcastle's 26-year-old English midfielder Joe Willock. (i paper)

I assume Willock would be of interest as a midfielder who can get into the box and score goals. Can only be a squad / team balance thing, because I don't think he's a better player than our current options, with the possible exception of Yates (who brings other things to the table).

Scored loads when he went there on loan but six premier league goals in the last five seasons means I rather hope we wouldn’t be buying him to score goals.

He's well behind Tonali, Bruno, Joelinton so probably not getting many minutes. (More a question about the presentation of the stat than a defence of his goalscoring ability - apart from having some experience of the level I don't love the idea of signing him, as should be clear from my previous post.)

Would suggest that's some way down our list of concerns right now.
We are already in the knock out stage, so can play kids for the remaining two group games. The way things are going, we'll have to do similar in the knock out games and basically throw them, as well.
