The first three games were a big improvement. Now it's reverted to being the same as it was in November.

General mood online seems to be a big Meh to Nuno. Go, stay, whatever.

Also interesting Dan Taylor says the set price coach has barely been involved under Nuno.

I mean it's got to be worth an hour or so of training time hasn't it?

Is the owner just going down to the manager and shouting at him to fix the problems rather than leaving him alone to try to work out how to win games?

Morgan hits the near post defender with his corners every single time. He's a good enough player that I have to think it's intentional, but I'll be fucked if I know why.

We should at least be trying out Toffolo or Murillo taking corners.

Promotion for Nigel, who has now managed more games than Brian did. With his brother Simon by his side as Head of Recruitment, keeping it in the family.

It still could happen if we get relegated couldn't it....

So Tim Walter watched our game against City apparently, from the director's box.

Lots for an out of work coach to learn from watching a Pep team.

Yeah. Sounds like he's a bit of a Pep fan from how he tried to get Hamburg to play, though it didn't quite work.

Why does everyone call Guardiola by his first name, but other managers are / were (almost) universally referred to by surname? Or at least by first and last?

I can understand it when it's an affectionate nickname attributed to the manager of your own club (Super Steve Cooper, Uncle Frank) or their surname is really long and first name short (Nuno) or in derogatory reference for the 'bantz' (Fat Sam, Fat Frank, Schteeve)

Whereas other, generally well regarded managers are all just simply referred to by last name:

Clough, Ferguson, Wenger, Mourinho, Spelletti, Ancelotti, Arteta, Pochettino, Klopp.

    But Guardiola is 'Pep'.

It comes across a bit "Oooh Pep" love-in wankfest. Fucking 'pitch too dry'....

I realise you've covered this a bit but literally everyone refers to Nuno Espírito Santo as Nuno.

See also: Trent Alexander-Arnold referred to, almost exclusively by the media, by his first name. No idea why this is the case.

The Trent thing is weird because quite a few, including our glorious leader and TGLE Psycho, call him "Trent Alexander". Unless I'm missing something, that's his first name and half of his surname. So weird.
