Not very sporting of you.
Not very sporting of you.
I appear to be here. For now at least.
Don't do it Dave! Life's not too bad!
I'm a glutton for punishment.
Have you tried clcking on things to see what happens?
I had to re-authenticate everything again as it kept logging me out and asking for authentication codes.
It really is whacky.
You fucking Russians!
Chicago: Done.
The anti-twat filters are working Tricky, good work.
I think there's clear evidence that that is not the case.
True. Russ is on this board.
Chicago: In Your Face!
Yes, well done, you figured out the joke. Have a carrot.
We are gradually getting there. If you don't want to authenticate every time tick "Remember me" when you log in to turnstile.
If you log out, or clear your cookies, you will have to authenticate again. You will have to authenticate every month. You have to authenticate on every platform and browser that you access the site from.
These things are relatively straightforward, but bear mention.
I am definitely not complaining, but it's been just over a month now since I managed to join and I've not been asked to do it again, yet (thankfully)
Do I have that joy to come in the near future? Or have I managed to get some kind of forever pass?
(Just thought I'd mention it incase it's an error you need to fix)
I can't remember the duration I set exactly. I went for as long as possible. At some point it will be necessary. It might be three months.
I presume we just open the authenticator we used and it gives us a new number? We don't have to do the QR code again?
Correct. You will have to log into turnstile, using your username and the password you supplied. It will ask for your OTP code. You provide it from the authenticator you registered with the account, and then you will be in.
Once you are familiar with the process, it is quite quick.
Three month's sounds better, it gives me another month and a half to try to remember what password I used.
As long as you have access to the email address that you used, you can reset your password...and register a new authenticator.
In this sense the email address is known as 'the single source of truth'. In your control, not mine.
Of course the email address that you use can also be changed.
That was easy.
Made it. So is everything happening here now, or still there? When does our master and ruler explode the old incarnation?
Phew, got there eventually. I have little faith in my own ability to follow simple instructions, but this went quite smoothly.
