Anyone else thinking, I hope Liverpool start dropping points?

This is my default setting, to be fair.

They can start after today though, let them stick 8+ past Leicester first.

Yeah but not against Fester who are currently staring at the trap door.

So dont we play them soon? Would fucking love the double over those cnuts. Unfortunately we have the boring side of Scouseland first. Ugh I hate playing Nevergone.

    Chicago: Still on a high.

Edit: if they do something crazy like sack Ange can we have Brennan back?

Yes but he is one of our own. I actually think Brennan is way more consistent than Anthony Francis Carr. Don’t get me wrong I love what he can do for us but Brennan would also improve us. It won’t happen of course but if he was offered to us I would take the young man back.

    Chicago: Nostalgic.

I thought that when we were in League One.

But if they are going to, after today will do.

Spurs were shit, as I said. How many saves did Sels need to make?

Why would we need more possession? We play devastating, effective football often enough in games to win them.

And whoever said that game wasn't entertaining is wrong.

I said it. I was not entertained. It was an effective, businesslike performance that limited Spurs and didn't put the ball at risk. I can respect what we did and be pleased that we did it so well without particularly enjoying watching it happen.

I enjoyed watching us win a game of football on TV and defending really well (bar forgetting to mark BJ 2 or 3 times) whilst also feeling slightly frustrated at how a number of our counter attacks broke down. I thought selecting 'no (Birtles) commentary' would enhance my enjoyment but it seemed to almost mute the crowd noise.
I also spent the whole game answering somewhat inane questions and explaining everything that was happening to my Mum. She's 85, bless her.

Still beats listening to Barry Girdles, who only sounds like he’s 85, what with the reactionary attitude & über-repetitive stories

For the second game running I sat near a tedious entitled cunt. This one moaned from the off, slumped to his seat after 18 minutes shouting it was boring and just kept telling everyone how crap Spurs are and 4th should easily be beating 11th. I assume he skipped the past 20+ years and has just picked up again.

Mum's occasional 'kick it forwards, not backwards!' is a level Baz can only dream of.

So, if chelsea are in the title race, is it crazy for the team 1 point behind them to be?

We're in the title race, whether we can believe it or not. The table doesn't lie. But Liverpool and much better than everyone else so we won't win it. We're going to get a champions league place though which many people had said would never happen again.
