Still 55% possession. Chalk that down as a win.

3 of the back 4 booked. Can Williams complete the set?

Yates injury. Means Abbott is likely to be on the bench for the next few weeks.

With Sangare going to Afcon (I presume he'll leave tomorrow as it will take him twice as long to get there as anyone else) we might finally see the second best midfielder at the club given the run of starts he deserves.

3 cards, 3 corners, 3 shots on target.
    Not the magic number today.

The injury situation must be a big factor. Becomes a viscous circle as well, because we can’t rotate the players who are fit to play.

The most obvious concern is that we apparently can't handle not having Murillo in the side. A top quality centre-half is clearly a massive priority in the window.

    Loafer likes this.

3 is now the magic number for Everton.

I don't understand Dyche's thinking the last two games. We've lost pretty much all of our progressive instincts, we're focused on trying to keep the ball rather than using it, and we're trying to defend with numbers rather than structure.

Maybe, but let's not lose sight of the fact we're a struggling side, trying to rebuild for the second time this season, away at a team about to move into the Champions League places.

This was never going to be an easy game and we were pretty much fucked from the second minute in reality.

Does Dave any anecdotes about someone that he thinks may die soon? Call it a sneak peak of a new season of ‘Dead with Dave’.

Would be a lot better than this tripe…

Had we not already looked much better under Dyche I might agree. It can't all be about Murillo.

If Dyche doesn't taste Cunha highly enough to play him yes.

Anderson has played millions of games, some of the others are adjusting to having european as well as league games, some are just coming back from injury, some are just coming into the team. There's a bit of disruption, and a lot of being low in energy.

Long range tiny glimmer: Morato has done pretty well the last few games.
