Not beating Leicester was probably the killer, but we had plenty of more positive results than we should have had.

Taking Sangare off was a mistake. He was the quality and the tempo. Wood really should have got at least one.

Flat as a pancake. We just didn't have it. What an utterly frustrating day with Newcastle and Villa losing. Although if i was a Villa fan i would be apoplectic. Morgan Rogers scored for Villa to take the lead due to a keeper fuck up and they didn't even allow it to go to VAR. If i was them i would be furious.
Chelsea didn't deserve to beat us, but we didn't deserve to win. Strangely a very muted ending.
Next season is going to be much more difficult unfortunately. Ah fuck it. I am going to mow the lawn..

What a terrific season. Shame they were running on fumes and managing a couple of injuries coming into the home straight, but a seventh-placed finish and European football for the first time in three decades is astonishing.
Pity Gibbs-White couldn't bow out on a heroic note but you can't win them all. Going to be an interesting summer.

1 point from our last 4 games. Need to be some questions asked about that. Did we run out of steam? Maybe a little, but I didn't see that today or at Spurs. More that teams have realised if they sit back we can't break them down. Going to be a big challenge for Nuno over the summer to figure out how to counter that next season. Though we're likely to have a pretty different squad to be fair.

The difference in money is a lot. I think winning the Conference is less than qualifying for the Champions. But just being in this conversation is a huge achievement. And we got the FA Cup semi final.

Well if MGW does leave then we’ll need to change the approach anyway, not trying to bash him as I’ve enjoyed watching him since promotion, but we need more from that position if we’re going to push for a European spot again next season.

He's been a great servant but he is not measured . Anonymous today. He can be explosive but we needed someone to open up the defence and he doesn't do that. We can get 2 replacements with change for the fee we would get for him.
