Danilo was there last night, but arrived after Pavilion Road closed, so his car had to drop him on Radcliffe Road and he was escorted head down hood up to the ground. I did ask for a photo with my children but he ignored it (he has form for this).

I have sympathy in that situation. He'd never get there if he said yes to everyone.
Was he asked in english, or portuguese?
125 years ago today, Nottingham Forest played the first ever game at the City Ground.
2 years ago today Nottingham Forest lay bottom of the Championship League table.
This weekend Nottingham Forest were only one of two top flight English clubs to keep a clean sheet in this EPL gameweek.
Gameweek.
Come on.
I know that we are both old enough to remember when it was 'Saturday afternoon', but sooner or later you have to get with the programme to sell the game down the river, granddad.
Grinds my gears too. I think it might have crept in due to FF ? They very much operate on 'Game weeks'.
One of the oldest clubs in the world is named after playing on not Saturday afternoon, so it's hardly a new concept.
"Notts County" isn't a day of the week you idiot.
Yes it is. Notts = Nott Saturday.
Duh.
A letter from the owner. Obviously not written by him, but it's pretty good all the same.

....who played almost exclusively on saturday afternoons, when I were a lad.
Have to say it didn't do a lot for me. I'm not suggesting that he should have written it, or even had sight of it, but I would have preferred something a bit more authentic and meaningful. Matey peeps.
Recognition that the steam behind redevelopment was not being driven with actual fire.
John Taylor, Forest's COO, has stepped down. Presume this is a result of Cartledge wanting his own people on the board.
Maybe but Chairman would normally be non exec role and not be appointing/removing a COO.
I think he's just had enough. We churn senior positions fairly regularly.
