Kind of sick that the club appears not to have told him they missed him out of the 25 and he couldn’t have played at the back end of last season.

Second bit of the Trust/Randall interview:

    www.youtube.com/watch?v=JOSJhWHP72U

Blames Adidas for increasing the price of the shirt, which I'm sure will go down well. Also interesting that there are 23,000 members who, presumably, are competing for about 6,000 tickets. If there 5k in the top "guaranteed" band (pro?) means that for, say, ManU, you've got 18k people trying to buy 1,000 tickets (plus a few on the exchange).

I can't be arsed to listen but blaming Adidas for the price increase seems somewhat disingenuous. Who chose to move to Adidas as supplier?

Basically - you all wanted Adidas, Adidas charge more for their kits, club still makes the same.

    So, it's our fault, basically.

    Guardian predicts we'll finish 14th: www.theguardian.com/football/2023/aug/09/premier-league-2023-24-preview-no-16-nottingham-forest

That's the highest I've seen anyone put us. Most predictions I've seen have Luton and Sheff U as the bottom 2 and then us with Wolves, Everton and sometimes a one or two others competing to not be the third.

Gawd bless the Guardian. Until we get balance in the team we are going to struggle. Those first four away games are brutal so the pressure will be on against the Blunts. Let's hope it's all a cunning ruse and Felipe and Taiwo are ready to play.

Maybe our secret weapon is Emmanuel Dennis.... Um....

    Chicago: Feeling a little bleak.

Dennis is a bit of an odd one. Other than a tentative link to Leeds last month, there's been zero transfer rumours about him going. Yet he's clearly not in Cooper's squad going on the pre-season games. Think he might be one that sits on his arse for the year .... maybe a loan in January.

Michael Owen had us 13th, wherever he gets his stuff ghost written.

I think he will be one of the second wave to KSA - maybe with Boly and or Kouyate. I hope Shelvey too, but I doubt that one.

Who wanted Adidas, social media I assume? I liked the Macron stuff (once you worked out their sizing).

The Macron top certainly looks better on my frame than the new Adidas one.

The adidas sizes are way better. I like the macron designs but the shirts were all off quality and size wise.

I am wearing the new Pink Forest training top at work and it looks smart. Especially without sponsorship ruining the design.

We may have a tough season but we are going to look good!

    Chicago: Stylish.

Another vote for the Macron shirt from me.

Club still makes the same wasn't the line they were selling us when Adidas were announced: "Nottingham Forest are reportedly set for "the biggest sponsorship agreement in their history" as they look to switch kit suppliers to Adidas which they wore during the club's European Cup winning days."

I think there’s a slight difference. That’s talking about the overall deal - Randall is talking about per shirt sold.
