Daily Heil saying we owe millions of pounds in Bonuses to players who have left the club and to agents.
The players sounds like a bit of muck raking as the plan is to pay them when the players who have stayed are paid - don't know about the agents.

This is mildly amusing phrasing. Appears to club only declined to put a comment on the record.
So is that a comment or a non story?
Looks like the player bonus issue is a bit of a non-story. But it’s not a great look to be seen to be owing money (especially to agents) when you desperately need bodies through the door.
It's a terrible article that doesn't seem to know what it is trying to say, which casts some doubt on it, but if there is truth in it there is a concern because late payments, slow payments and reluctant paying of bills are all indicators of an owner losing interest, which is very bad in our position. Hopefully it's just nonsense. Maybe it will become clearer over time, or just disappear.
Businesses habitually have whole departments dedicated to managing late payments, slow payments and reluctant paying of bills. On both sides. This is not because they have lost interest in their business. It's because managing liquidity and cash flow is an integral part of trading effectively.
This may be particularly pertinent in a seasonal business, during periods where income streams drop off.
Which is why it could well be a nonsense story. Similar stories were probably initially dismissed out of hand about Mel Morris though and Fawaz got worse as he lost interest (admittedly he wasn't great before either), so it can go either way.
Probably it's nothing, but it's worth noting in case a pattern forms.
I think the bonuses are nothing - everyone is being paid in August - I have seen this a lot, bonuses being paid after people have left.
The agents is a possible concern, depending on the reasons - we don't know there may be valid disputes.
But I would agree it is important to keep an eye on.
Twitter says Felipe injured and will miss start of the season.
Although the actual article says words to the effect of ‘hasn’t played in preseason, might have a knee injury’ and not much more than that.

It’s the Daily Mail, which often makes things up or makes an issue out of nothing. I’ll file it under that.
If Marinakis had lost interest, I can't imagine he'd have much diffculty selling - we're a premier league club now.

Sounds legit.
Just wanted to give an update on what’s been going on and where i’ve been for the past year. Last year was the most difficult year in my career so far. Having just joined Forest I couldn’t wait to kick on and be able to help the team but a few days in I was told I have a fracture in my shin and will need to operate. 5 months later I was finally on the grass again and excited to join the team after world cup had finished.
I flew out to Dubai to train and got myself in really good shape but every day after I trained I was in pain. I then spoke with the surgeon and we decided it was best to remove one of the metal pins that was put in during the surgery to help my bone heal as it was rubbing against another bone and causing discomfort. This was soo frustrating because I had made progress but this setback would keep me out for a few more months. Having to then watch each game while the team was going through some tough moments and I could do nothing to help was killing me every day.
I was working hard to try and come back before the season finished but time was running out. I was nearly back to team training with not long left of the season, I had this pain in my groin area for a little while but it was getting worse as time went on. Went for a scan and then found out I had a hernia on both sides - I felt like I just couldn’t catch a break and i’ve never had long term injuries before so it wasn’t easy to deal with this mentally.
At that point my season was over so I just wanted to have the operation and get the hernia fixed asap so that I could do all my rehab work in the off season and come back strong with no injury issues for the new season. So yeah that’s where i’m at now, i’m feeling good and been gradually building in pre season so that i will be ready for the start of the season.
Also I appreciate all the messages of support a lot of you have sent, hopefully this season will be a good one !
Kind of sick that the club appears not to have told him they missed him out of the 25 and he couldn’t have played at the back end of last season.
