    Quoted message:

What constitutes an Associated Party of a Club is set out in detail in the Premier League Rules (Rule A.1.25) and includes third parties that are in the same group of companies as a Club, have common ownership or board members with a Club, or are materially influenced by the same party as a Club. So as to ensure no circumvention, in addition to the standard submission of APTs, all Club deals with non-Associated Parties with an average annual value of over £1 million or, if lower, 5% of the Club’s annual turnover (known as "Threshold Transactions") must also be submitted to the Board for an assessment as to whether they are APTs or otherwise have not been conducted at arm’s length. If so, the deals must be subject to an FMV Assessment.

    Dim.

I was at the 9-man Coventry game. Only the second time I'd been to Cov, with the first being the day we clinched the title at Highfield Road (the day of Shilton's ridiculous save, which was right in front of me).

Being an old fart, I have never seen the Stone Roses - but I did spend a lot of time at the Hope & Anchor in Islington in the late-70s (when it was something of a magnet for up-&-coming bands - it holds about 50 people), and saw Dire Straits, Prefab Sprout, Buzzcocks, The Stranglers & XTC there (along with far more bands who were deeply shit / inept in that way that we all briefly thought was fun in the punk era; I now find almost all punk albums pretty much unlistenable).

Of all of those deals, Matt Turner is the one that looks the most interesting.

IIRC the deal was agreed, Textor left and Lyon tried to pull the plug but deal had gone too far, hence loaning him out. Fee seems fine for an FA Cup winning international.

Not sure this is much of a hypothesis. Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor once backed himself to outsmart Emily Maitlis. Apparently that didn't go so well.

That's both a rebuttal, and a proof of concept.

The problem is, you see, that rich people often think that possession of moolah makes them smart. So do many poor people.

Seems odd that they can't correctly spell the name of the football club in the headline.

As well as mis-spelling Cuiabano's name, and saying that Mangala is currently on loan at Everton. I think there's a reasonable idea for an article there, but I really don't think they made it.

Ola can’t play for us until January anyway, so he’ll miss a maximum of three league games and the third round of the FA cup. Can’t play against Braga, so should be available for Brentford away on the 25th.

If I trusted the medical care he’ll get, I could view it as effectively a pre season.

Exactly that. It will be good if he can get game time without overplaying. The potential downside (like with Sangare last time) is just huge.

No, we swapped him out for Taiwo at the last minute.

And why not Braga? Because he's not in the EL squad and we can't make changes in that until the end of the league phase?

Correct. And only three changes then.

Sangare will be the primary impact given he is a regular starter under Dyche, but I'm very happy with the cover we have for him. Apart from him, Aina and Taiwo, do we lose anyone else?
